OIL-TO-AIR COOLERS
Oil coolers feature lightweight aluminum cooling tubes with integral circular finning rolled from the tube wall. Turbulators are placed in tubes to increaseheat transfer. Where space is at a premium,high efficiency copper tube coolers similar in design to MESABI engine radiators are available. For pressures exceeding 150 psi(1034 kPa), L&Moffers two models that feature tube-to-header seals held captive in the headerplate. Once a tube is in place,the seal is compressed to make a tube-to-header seal capable of withstandingpressures to 500 psi (3400 kPa) Model CSC 500 or 350 psi (2400 kPa) ModelCSC 250.
