DEFINITION OF A DIESEL AND A GASOLINE MOTOR

1.-The diesel motor

The diesel motor is an internal combustion motor whose function is based on a thermodynamic cycle, in which the diesel is injected into the combustion chamber after air compression on behalf of the piston has been carried out. The relationship of the compression of the air charge is high enough as to ignite the injected diesel.
This motor uses various types of combustion, which are characterized by a greater thermal efficiency as well as its economic advantages by the applications it has. Due to the fact that it is a machine that produces power, it is called a motor, and since combustion takes place in its interior, they are recognized as internal combustion motors.

2.-Gasoline motor

Gasoline motors are those which work with a mix of gas and air which is aspirated and ignited with a spark.
